Terms of Use

Effective July 13, 2026

These terms apply to the Visual Truth Codex plugin and bundled development editor published by Derek Hanchi through Ultimate Design Studios.

License

Visual Truth is provided under the MIT License included with the distribution. These terms do not reduce rights granted by that license.

Development-only use

Visual Truth is designed to operate in local development environments. Users must keep the editor overlay behind a development-only guard and review their production build before deployment. Generated source may be reviewed, changed, committed, and deployed as part of the user's application.

User responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining backups or source-control history, reviewing generated changes, protecting project credentials, respecting third-party rights, and testing their application before publication. Users must not use Visual Truth to access, alter, or distribute content they are not authorized to manage.

Third-party services

Visual Truth may be used alongside Codex, package managers, browsers, source-control providers, and hosting services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

No warranty

Visual Truth is provided as described in the MIT License, without warranty. Visual editing and generated source can affect application layout and behavior. Users should review changes and retain a reversible source-control checkpoint.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Derek Hanchi and Ultimate Design Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Visual Truth.

Changes and contact

Material changes to these terms will be dated and included with the applicable release. Questions can be sent to info@ultimatedesignstudios.com.
